German Innovation Award for the Weidemann 1190e

The German Innovation Award provides everyone who is promoting innovation with the same opportunities and makes these ground-breaking services visible to a wide audience. In 2023, the German Innovation Award once again received a great response with 650 submission from 22 countries.

The fully electric, compact loader 1190e by Weidemann was awarded a Winner in the Excellence in Business to Business category for e-mobility technologies.

The machine impressed the jury with its innovative product features: a unique heating and ventilation concept for operation in the cabin, the needs-based configurable equipment with three lithium-ion batteries available (including on-board charger(s)), a well-dosed energy requirement with two motors for the drive system and the work hydraulics, an electric parking brake with hill-hold function (safety/comfort) and recuperation, a machine-performance which is even higher than it is for diesel-powered comparable models (resulting in an increased tipping load), a clear multi-functional display, good efficiency due to the high running times, and charging times that are as low as possible, as well as the option for mobile work through transportation on a trailer.
