When development first began on the Weidemann machine factory, there was a farm, a village smithy, two brothers and their great mutual technical interest. With this focus, they soon formed a second, industrial pillar.
Thus in 1960, the machine factory Weidemann KG was founded in which the production of different components and devices was performed. The great breakthrough came 12 years later with the invention of the Hoftrac, the small articulated wheel loader, which could often the cumbersome manual tasks on farms. This then revolutionary machine quickly spread.
Over the following decades, the company rapidly grew, meanwhile becoming a GmbH. Today, Weidemann product are synonymous to compact Hoftracs, wheel loaders, tele wheel loaders, and telehandlers for the agricultural and equestrian industry, timber industry, municipalities, plant nurseries, biogas plants, and different industries within trade and industry.
