When development of the Weidemann machine factory began, there was a farmyard, a blacksmiths, two brothers, and they great mutual technical interest. With this focus, they soon formed a second, industrial pillar.
Thus in 1960, the machine factory Weidemann KG was founded in which the production of different components and devices was performed. The great break-through then came 12 years later with the invention of the Hoftrac, the small articulated wheel loader, which was often able to replace the cumbersome manual work on the farmyards and operations. A revolutionary machine for its time, it found prevalence quickly.
In the subsequent decades, the company continued to grow rapidly, in the meantime becoming a GmbH. Today, Weidemann products are synonymous to compact Hoftracs, wheel loaders, tele wheel loaders, and telehandlers for the agricultural and equestrian sector, the timber industry, municipalities, biogas systems, as well as different areas of the trade and industry operations.
