Maximum traction thanks to articulated joint and oscillating rear axle

Due to its size and weight, the machine is equipped with an articulated joint and oscillating rear axle. This ensures optimum maneuverability and traction combined with high driving comfort for a safe driving experience.
The end stops of the oscillating axle ensure a dampened end range of the oscillating angle. This prevents the axle and chassis from hitting the ground hard when moving at maximum speed. The operator receives noticeable feedback when the maximum oscillating angle is reached.
The division into articulated and oscillating rear axle guarantees the durability of the machine.

100 % connectible differential lock

Compared to a self-locking differential, the switchable 100 % differential lock provides maximum traction and thrust when needed. This increases the efficiency of the machine.
During normal traction drive, the differential lock is switched off. This provides safety and causes less tire wear, thus saving operating costs.

High hydraulic performance

A Weidemann machine has sufficient hydraulic output. It is therefore suitable for operating many different attachments.
The flexible combination of machine and a variety of hydraulically operated attachments covers numerous work tasks.
The advantage: Machines with high hydraulic output save money, as it is not absolutely necessary to change to a larger machine.

Double P-kinematics with High Lift Height

The long double P-kinematics with two powerful lift and tilt cylinders ensure excellent parallel guidance over the entire lift range and provide an optimum view of the attachment.
With the long P-kinematics, a large load-over height is achieved, allowing even high trailers to be loaded.
The large rollback angle ensures optimum volume utilization of the bucket for free-flowing bulk material. The large rollout angle enables the bucket to be emptied completely, even with strongly adhering material.

Optimum tires

The right tires for a machine play an important role in practical application. If the tires are matched to the ground and the application, the operator can work optimally with the machine.
Selecting the right tires ensures maximum traction as well as minimum wear and a pleasant running smoothness of the machine. These aspects also increase the service life of the tires and at the same time increase economic efficiency.
Different profiles are available depending on the model so as to achieve optimum performance on every ground: EM profile, AS profile, SureTrax profile, RP profile, MPT profile, Multiuse profile and Bibload profile. This ensures maximum flexibility in machine configuration ex works.

Clear digital 7 inch / 7" display

The most important functions always in view: With the digital display, the operator always maintains an overview while working. In addition to standard displays such as temperature, fuel level or operating hours, the active functions are also shown in the cockpit, for example, switched-on electric functions, continuous operation of the 3rd control circuit or the switched-on differential lock.
Placed at the top right of the cab, always providing the operator with a good view of the display - without obstructing the view.
The various functions and settings are controlled via the jog dial. This enables the operator to operate the machine easily and conveniently.

Compact dimensions and directional stability ensure optimum mobility and high maneuverability of the machine.

Efficient change of attachments

The hydraulic rapid-change system allows attachments to be exchanged conveniently and quickly. The good view of the rapid-change plate makes changing attachments particularly easy.
Changing the attachments is extremely safe thanks to the 2-hand operation when de-coupling.
The machine is immediately ready for use again after changing the attachment. This increases productivity and improves economic efficiency.

Consistent operating philosophy

All Weidemann machines have a consistent operating concept with clearly structured and ergonomically arranged switches and keypads. All machines can be operated in a very similar way or in almost the same way. The advantage here is that an operator can quickly find his way around different Weidemann machines and work productively.
The Weidemann operating philosophy allows the operator to easily understand the machine. This enables him to orientate himself well and work safely. This can be seen, for example, in recurring elements such as the Jog-Dial, joystick, display, general switch assignments, etc.

Inch brake pedal: Engine output where it is needed.

1. No pressure on the inch-brake pedal: Full power for the traction drive. 2. Lightly pressed inch-brake-pedal: Speed is reduced, more power to the work hydraulics. 3. Strongly pressed inch-brake-pedal: The speed is reduced further, even more power to the work hydraulics. 4. Fully pressed inch-brake-pedal: The wheel loader is stationary, full power to the work hydraulics.
The advantages of the inch-brake-pedal: Less wear of the service brake as well as optimum power distribution of the engine output.
The inch-brake-pedal and hydrostatic traction drive enable very sensitive work to be done with the machine.

Pressure relief on the loading system

The button for pressure relief is easily accessible on the outside of the loading system. This allows different hydraulically operated attachments to be changed even faster and more efficiently. This can also be done while the engine is running.
When the pressure relief is activated, the active hydraulic control circuit is depressurized and hydraulically operated attachments can be changed effortlessly and safely.

Load Sensing Working Hydraulics

The Load Sensing System is a hydraulic control system that adjusts the pressure and oil quantity of the hydraulic pump to the required conditions.
The Load Sensing System reduces oil heating in the hydraulic circuit and lowers fuel consumption.
The load sensing system enables full hydraulic power to be delivered even at low engine speeds. This ensures efficient operation of the machine and attachment.

Two powerful lifting cylinders

Two powerful lifting cylinders guarantee that the load distribution is always optimally transferred to the loading arm. The entire loading system also gains in stability. A plus in terms of safety for the operator.
The stable loading arm together with two lifting cylinders prevents damage to the loader unit through torsion in the best possible way. This reduces service costs and increases the value preservation of the machine.

Illumination of the work area

The lighting can be adapted for different requirements: Halogen lighting, lighting according to StVZO, LED lighting and additional headlights on the driver's cab, the loader unit or the telescopic arm. This allows working with the machine adjusted to the individual, even in the dark.
A well-lit work area increases work safety and lets the operator work even longer with the machine, in a concentrated and safe manner.

Easy entry and exit

In just a few steps, the operator can comfortably enter the cab or operator's platform of the machine. This is made possible by the large, non-slip steps and the easy-to-reach handholds. This increases operator safety when getting in and out of the machine.

Perfectly tuned kinematics
At Weidemann, the kinematics are adapted to the size of the machine, based on application. This ensures optimum power ratios and maximum productivity for every machine.

The large hydraulic cylinders always provide enough reserves. The components of the loader unit are not operated at maximum.

Variety of equipment

Weidemann machines have extensive and high-quality standard equipment. Moreover, depending on the application and model, e.g. engine, drive, driver's cab or hydraulics can be individually configured. It is always ensured that the machine meets the individual requirements and preferences of the customer.

Rear hydraulic connections

The loader can be equipped at the back with hydro connections (single or double acting). This expands the range of applications of the machine, as rear hydraulic attachments or tipper trailers can be operated.
The machine can be used multi-functionally for different activities. No additional vehicles or machines are required.

High Flow high-performance hydraulics

The machine can be optionally equipped with High Flow high-performance hydraulics. This allows operating front attachments with a high oil requirement (such as a snow blower). This expands the range of applications for the machine.

Front and/or rear electrical connections

The machine can be equipped with front and/or rear electrical connections. This allows electrically operated additional functions of attachments, such as a sweeping machine with water spraying mechanism, to be operated. It is also possible to switch additional functions of hydraulic attachments. The operation is comfortable via the joystick.
The electric functions (push/lock) can be individually assigned to the joystick controls if desired.
Electrical connections at the front and/or rear ensure that a wide range of attachments can be operated with the machine. This in turn increases the range of applications of the machine.

Pressureless return including leakage oil line

Certain attachments with their own hydraulic motor require an unpressurized return line. The hydraulic oil flows back into the hydraulic oil tank via the oil cooler and the oil filter in a large dimensioned separate line. The advantage here is that the attachment can feed the return oil cooled and without increased stagnation pressure back into the hydraulic oil tank. This protects components of the machine and the attachment.
The leakage oil line returns the leakage oil of the oil motor to the tank with max. 2 bar / 29.00 psi if required. This minimizes the casing pressure in the hydraulic motor of the attachment.

Comfortable Cab

The spacious and comfortable cab meets the safety requirements of the current European Machinery Directive according to ROPS (Roll Over Protective Structure) and FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure) and offers plenty of headroom and freedom of movement.
The cab's full glazing and deeply recessed windows give the operator an excellent view of the attachment and the entire work area. This ensures safety, as the operator always has a clear view of the work environment.
The interior impresses with excellent ergonomics, a generous amount of available space and many individual adjustment options for the operator. The cab offers protection from all weather conditions and thus enables the operator to work in a focused and comfortable manner.

Adjustable steering wheel

The steering wheel can be individually adjusted to suit the operator's needs. This ensures that every operator can work with the machine in an ergonomic and focused manner.

Ergonomic Joystick

The joystick can be held securely and comfortably. The control is, both, direct and sensitive. Thus the operator always has the machine and the most important functions under control.
In addition to standard functions such as selecting the direction of travel and the speed level, many other functions such as the differential lock, the 3rd and 4th control circuit, High-Flow and all electric functions can be operated via the joystick. This enables comfortable one-handed operation of attachments.
Concentrating the most important function on the joystick ensures comfortable working even over longer periods of time. This also increases overall efficiency when working with the machine.

The joystick console is mounted on the operator's seat and cushions in response to vibrations. If the operator's seat is adjusted to the operator's needs, the joystick console is always in the perfect position as well. This provides added comfort and ergonomics for the operator.

Comfortable working environment

The efficiently designed heating and ventilation system with fan, fresh air filter and well-placed air nozzles keeps the cab in a comfortable working climate.
The various Weidemann cab versions always have sufficient air nozzles installed. This enables good air circulation and makes the working climate pleasant for the operator.

Ventilation as required

Depending on the version, the cab has large, wide-opening doors or windows on both sides that can be opened erect. With the divided door, the upper window pane can be opened and locked in place. Gap ventilation is also possible. This ensures fresh air in the cab, even without air conditioning, and increases comfort for the operator in warm outside temperatures.

Comfortable and ergonomic operator's seat

The operator's seat is ergonomically shaped, well suspended and adjustable. The joystick console including armrest forms a unit with the operator's seat and is also adjustable and spring-suspended. The optional air-sprung comfort seat offers even greater comfort. A heated seat is available for cold temperatures. This increases the operator's comfort and enables them to work with the machine in a focused manner for extended periods of time.
Depending on the model, different seats are available to match the size of the machine. The various seat adjustment options allow individual settings for the operator, providing optimum comfort.

Proportional speed limiter (slow speed device)

With the proportional speed limiter (slow speed device), very slow travel speeds can be achieved in the first speed stage at constant engine speed. This offers an advantage when using attachments that are operated at a constant high speed but at a very low driving speed at the same time.
The proportional speed limiter (slow speed device) enables comfortable and concentrated work with attachments such as a sweeper, hedge trimmer or mulcher, even over longer periods of time.

Manual throttle

The manual throttle allows a constant engine speed to be set manually for optimum operation of an attachment. Continuously variable adjustment is convenient and precise via a corresponding potentiometer.
The hand throttle ensures comfortable and concentrated work with attachments such as a sweeper, hedge trimmer or mulcher, even over longer periods of time.

Automatic bucket return

The operation of the bucket return mechanism is ergonomically located on the joystick, and with just a push of a button, the position of the tilt cylinder is remembered. The attachment can then return to the exact same position during the next loading process.
It provides extra comfort, precision and speed for the operator during repetitive tasks, such as stacking work or filling containers with fixed heights or sides.

Intelligently Designed Service Access

The machine has easily accessible access panels and the mudguards can be removed. This allows easy access to the engine, hydraulic system, and electronics. This greatly facilitates the inspection and maintenance of the machine. The engine hood can be opened widely, thereby allowing for optimal access.

Fully automatic central lubrication unit

The duration of the lubrication process and the intervals can be set on the fully automatic central lubrication system. Regular re-lubrication of all lubrication points increases the operational safety of the machine.

Maintenance-friendly hydraulic hosing

Short hydro connections are generally installed on Weidemann machines. This means that the hoses are split at several places. If a hydro connection needs to be replaced; only the affected part is replaced. This means that there is no need to replace the entire hose connection in the hydraulic circuit. This speeds up repair times enormously and is also cost-efficient.

Reversible fan

At the push of a button, dirt is blown away from the cooling fins and onto the intake surfaces of the engine hood. The hydraulic motor and pump are designed so that the fan's airflow can be reversed (reversing capability). This protects the machine from damage due to overheating and avoids additional manual maintenance.
The reversible fan increases the longevity of the engine and provides added comfort for the operator.

Current emission standard and suitable engine
When implementing the current emissions directive for the reduction of exhaust gases and pollutants, it is important not to compromise in terms of performance, service life or economic efficiency of the machines, despite strict regulations. To implement this directive, Weidemann uses the latest engine technologies. These are equipped with various exhaust gas after-treatment systems.

Each machine can be equipped with the motorization appropriate for its size class. This prevents under- or over-motorization, which in turn ensures fuel-efficient and economical operation.
