A broad application range on the farm – Weidemann to the power of four!!

The building yard at the Garmisch-Partenkirchen market is located on the outskirts of town. One special feature of the building yard is the Weidemann fleet of four machines, which were purchased in the last three years: two compact 1280s, one 1380 and one 4080LPT.

In total, the building yard has over 100 employees – of which 30 are trained on the Weidemanns and can take care of daily work with them. The building yard’s responsibilities include, for example, street sweeping, tree maintenance, maintenance of the surrounding playgrounds and roads and of course winter service.

A variety of attachments.

The building yard has a variety of attachments available to be able to complete the various tasks at the same time: Snow blades, salt spreaders, mulchers, lightweight buckets, pallet forks, sweeping machines and a fork and grab make the machines in use into true all-rounders. There will also be a snow blower this coming winter. “Our Weidemanns become real multi-tools with the various attachments. It’s incredible how much weight such a compact wheel loader can lift”, explains Florian Kral, an employee at the building yard, in a satisfied manner.

Application areas around Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Depending on which activities need to be done currently, the machines are often in use outside of the building yard. For example, the wheel loaders are currently on the move in the mountains in the summer months and are repairing the hiking paths with new gravel and crushed stone, repairing storm damage or pushing wood together. In the community, they use sweeping machines to clean the walkways, put up traffic signs or help with general transport work. The 4080LPT mostly works inside the building yard. In the winter, it loads salt into the spreading vehicles and then pushes the rest of the salt back together. In the summer, it is used to load crushed stone or gravel. “We have absolutely nothing to complain about for all four of the machines. We are also more than satisfied with the dealer service from Hans Völk”, concludes Andreas Köckhuber, employee at the building yard.
