Maximum traction through articulated pendulum joint

The articulated pendulum joint enables all four wheels to maintain traction control even on uneven terrain. This increases the productivity of the machine and gives the operator optimum control.
The optimal ratio of articulation and swing angle ensures high traction control. This makes it easy to maneuver the machine. Even in confined spaces, there is no collision between the front and rear sections of the machine.
The front and rear carriages can swing independently of each other. The operator can thus react sensitively to every bump. This increases comfort and creates a safe feeling while driving.

100 % connectible differential lock

Compared to a self-locking differential, the switchable 100 % differential lock provides maximum traction and thrust when needed. This increases the efficiency of the machine.
During normal traction drive, the differential lock is switched off. This provides safety and causes less tire wear, thus saving operating costs.

High hydraulic performance

A Weidemann machine has sufficient hydraulic output. It is therefore suitable for operating many different attachments.

Robust Telescopic Arm

Compared to the normal wheel loader with loading swing arm, telescopic wheel loaders have a telescopic arm and thus a significantly increased lifting height and reach. These machines are characterized by features such as high maneuverability and good all-round visibility thanks to a central seating position and high lifting capacity.
The telescopic arm is robust and sturdily built, and the parallel guidance is hydraulic. All-important hydraulic lines are located internally and are protected against external influences. This increases the longevity of the machine.
The telescopic boom combines the advantages of an articulated machine with those of a telescopic loader. In this way, a high overload height and reach are achieved even with an articulated machine.

Optimum tires

The right tires for a machine play an important role in practical application. If the tires are matched to the ground and the application, the operator can work optimally with the machine.
Selecting the right tires ensures maximum traction as well as minimum wear and a pleasant running smoothness of the machine. These aspects also increase the service life of the tires and at the same time increase economic efficiency.
Different profiles are available depending on the model so as to achieve optimum performance on every ground: EM profile, AS profile, SureTrax profile, RP profile, MPT profile, Multiuse profile and Bibload profile. This ensures maximum flexibility in machine configuration ex works.

High-quality powder coating
Compared to conventional wet painting, powder coating increases corrosion protection. It thus prolongs the value preservation of the machine to a great extent. In addition, the process is based on powder recovery. Therefore, it is particularly environmentally friendly.

The durable powder coating guarantees value retention and ensures an accordingly high resale value for the machine.

Variety of equipment

Weidemann machines have extensive and high-quality standard equipment. Moreover, depending on the application and model, e.g. engine, drive, driver's cab or hydraulics can be individually configured. Selectable operator's cab

We offer a suitable selection of different driver's cabs for different applications.
Different driver's cabs are available depending on the machine: Fixed overhead guard, folding overhead guard eps (Easy Protection System) and various cab versions.

Flexible trailer operation

The machine can tow a trailer using the optional trailer hitch. Different systems are available depending on the machine. The maximum possible weight of the trailer depends on the model and equipment.
For operation on public roads, the machine must be registered in Germany as a self-propelled working machine and may also only be used within specified limits. Other regulations may apply internationally; the local sales partner will provide information on this.
The option of pulling a trailer expands the machine’s range of applications and offers more flexibility in application, as no additional towing vehicle is required.

Rear hydraulic connections

The loader can be equipped at the back with hydro connections (single or double acting). This expands the range of applications of the machine, as rear hydraulic attachments or tipper trailers can be operated.
The machine can be used multi-functionally for different activities. No additional vehicles or machines are required.

Separate 4th Control circuit

The machine can be optionally equipped with a double-acting hydraulic auxiliary control circuit. The separate 4th control circuit is operated independently and individually and allows the extended application of hydraulic attachments with multiple connections and functions.

Front and/or rear electrical connections

The machine can be equipped with front and/or rear electrical connections. This allows electrically operated additional functions of attachments, such as a sweeping machine with water spraying mechanism, to be operated. It is also possible to switch additional functions of hydraulic attachments. The operation is comfortable via the joystick.
The electric functions (push/lock) can be individually assigned to the joystick controls if desired.
Electrical connections at the front and/or rear ensure that a wide range of attachments can be operated with the machine. This in turn increases the range of applications of the machine.

Pressureless reverse travel

Certain attachments with their own hydraulic motor require a pressureless return line. The hydraulic oil flows back to the hydraulic oil tank via the oil cooler and oil filter in a well-sized separate line. This offers the advantage that the attachment can feed the return oil cooled and without increased stagnation pressure back into the hydraulic oil tank. This protects components of the machine and the attachment.

Efficient change of attachments

The hydraulic rapid-change system allows attachments to be exchanged conveniently and quickly. The good view of the rapid-change plate makes changing attachments particularly easy.
Changing the attachments is extremely safe thanks to the 2-hand operation when de-coupling.
The machine is immediately ready for use again after changing the attachment. This increases productivity and improves economic efficiency.

Inch brake pedal: Engine output where it is needed.

1. No pressure on the inch-brake pedal: Full power for the traction drive. 2. Lightly pressed inch-brake-pedal: Speed is reduced, more power to the work hydraulics. 3. Strongly pressed inch-brake-pedal: The speed is reduced further, even more power to the work hydraulics. 4. Fully pressed inch-brake-pedal: The wheel loader is stationary, full power to the work hydraulics.
The advantages of the inch-brake-pedal: Less wear of the service brake as well as optimum power distribution of the engine output.
The inch-brake-pedal and hydrostatic traction drive enable very sensitive work to be done with the machine.

Ballast weight

The machine can be equipped with a ballast weight (floor plate on the rear carriage) and/or cast iron rear weight. This means that heavier loads can be transported thanks to the higher tipping load.
The increased tipping load expands the range of applications, as larger attachments can be operated and heavier loads can be moved with the same machine.

Comfortable Cab

The spacious and comfortable cab meets the safety requirements of the current European Machinery Directive according to ROPS (Roll Over Protective Structure) and FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure) and offers plenty of headroom and freedom of movement.
The cab's full glazing and deeply recessed windows give the operator an excellent view of the attachment and the entire work area. This ensures safety, as the operator always has a clear view of the work environment.
The interior impresses with excellent ergonomics, a generous amount of available space and many individual adjustment options for the operator. The cab offers protection from all weather conditions and thus enables the operator to work in a focused and comfortable manner.

Adjustable steering column

The steering column can be individually adjusted to suit the operator's needs. This ensures that every operator can work with the machine in an ergonomic and focused manner.

Ergonomic Joystick

The joystick can be held securely and comfortably. The control is, both, direct and sensitive. Thus the operator always has the machine and the most important functions under control.
In addition to standard functions such as selecting the direction of travel and the speed level, many other functions such as the differential lock, the 3rd and 4th control circuit, High-Flow and all electric functions can be operated via the joystick. This enables comfortable one-handed operation of attachments.
Concentrating the most important function on the joystick ensures comfortable working even over longer periods of time. This also increases overall efficiency when working with the machine.

Air-conditioning system

The optional air conditioning system ensures a pleasant working climate inside the cab when outside temperatures are warm. It ensures a high airflow and impresses with its optimized cooling capacity. The operating element for the control and the air nozzles are always in the best possible position.
The air conditioning system increases the comfort for the operator. It enables fatigue-free work as it reduces the strain on the operator in warm outdoor temperatures.

Ventilation as required

Depending on the version, the cab has large, wide-opening doors or windows on both sides that can be opened erect. With the divided door, the upper window pane can be opened and locked in place. Gap ventilation is also possible. This ensures fresh air in the cab, even without air conditioning, and increases comfort for the operator in warm outside temperatures.

Comfortable and ergonomic operator's seat

The driver's seat is ergonomically shaped, well sprung and adjustable. The optional air sprung comfort seat offers even more pleasant conditions. Seat heating is available for cold temperatures. This increases the comfort for the operator. He can thus concentrate on working with the machine for longer periods.
Depending on the model, different seats are available to match the size of the machine. The various seat adjustment options allow individual settings for the operator, providing optimum comfort.

Comfortable loading arm damping

The loading arm shock absorber can be activated electrically and enables optimum handling of the machine in rough terrain and on the road. It is particularly recommended when the machine transports heavy loads in the bucket or on the pallet fork, or moves a heavy attachment over a long distance at high speed. The loading arm shock absorber provides a significant plus in comfort for the operator.
Lifting arm damping prevents the machine from rocking at high travel speeds. This increases safety for the operator and protects the vehicle components by absorbing shocks.

Proportional speed limiter (slow speed device)

With the proportional speed limiter (slow speed device), very slow travel speeds can be achieved in the first speed stage at constant engine speed. This offers an advantage when using attachments that are operated at a constant high speed but at a very low driving speed at the same time.
The proportional speed limiter (slow speed device) enables comfortable and concentrated work with attachments such as a sweeper, hedge trimmer or mulcher, even over longer periods of time.

Manual throttle

The manual throttle allows a constant engine speed to be set manually for optimum operation of an attachment. Continuously variable adjustment is convenient and precise via a corresponding potentiometer.
The hand throttle ensures comfortable and concentrated work with attachments such as a sweeper, hedge trimmer or mulcher, even over longer periods of time.

Intelligently Designed Service Access

Due to the design of the Weidemann LP models, the operator's platform or cab cannot be tilted laterally. To ensure the best possible access to the engine, hydraulic system and electrics on these machine types, various easily accessible inspection and maintenance hatches are provided.
In addition, the operator's seat can be removed simply and easily. The engine hood can also be opened fully to provide optimum access.

The engine bonnet can be opened with just one hand movement to carry out regular service and maintenance work. The hydraulic oil tank, air filter, engine oil filler, oil dipstick and cooling water can thus be accessed easily and quickly and the necessary maintenance work can be carried out efficiently.

Regular lubrication of all lubrication points of the machine is essential for correct and effective maintenance and thus the operational safety of the machine. The lubrication points at Weidemann are always in an easily accessible position so as to save time and make work easier.
Since the lubrication points are easily accessible, regular lubrication of the machine is particularly easy. This in turn increases the longevity of the machine and increases its value preservation.

Fully automatic central lubrication unit

The duration of the lubrication process and the intervals can be set on the fully automatic central lubrication system. Regular re-lubrication of all lubrication points increases the operational safety of the machine.
With the fully automatic central lubrication system, the lubrication of the machine is done automatically and thus very conveniently. This means significant saving of time and increase in the longevity of the machine, thus increasing its value preservation.

Maintenance-friendly hydraulic hosing

Short hydro connections are generally installed on Weidemann machines. This means that the hoses are split at several places. If a hydro connection needs to be replaced; only the affected part is replaced. This means that there is no need to replace the entire hose connection in the hydraulic circuit. This speeds up repair times enormously and is also cost-efficient.

Illumination of the work area
The lighting can be adapted for different requirements: Halogen lighting, lighting according to StVZO, LED lighting and additional headlights on the driver's cab, the loader unit or the telescopic arm. This allows working with the machine adjusted to the individual, even in the dark.

A well-lit work area increases work safety and lets the operator work even longer with the machine, in a concentrated and safe manner.
Rollback Angle Limitation
The rollback angle limiter in the quick-change plate prevents the attachment from rolling up to the mechanical stop when the telescopic arm is raised. This prevents the bulk material from falling onto the machine, which increases the safety of both machine and operator.

Current emission standard and suitable engine
When implementing the current emissions directive for the reduction of exhaust gases and pollutants, it is important not to compromise in terms of performance, service life or economic efficiency of the machines, despite strict regulations. To implement this directive, Weidemann uses the latest engine technologies. These are equipped with various exhaust gas after-treatment systems.

Each machine can be equipped with the motorization appropriate for its size class. This prevents under- or over-motorization, which in turn ensures fuel-efficient and economical operation.
