IF Design Award for the T7035/T7042
The IF Design Award, which has been presented annually since 1954, is one of the most prestigious design awards in the world.
It rewards design achievements from all disciplines: Product, packaging, communication and service design, architecture and interior design as well as professional concept, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI).
It is not all about the pure product form at IF; the following holistically oriented criteria are also evaluated:
Idea
What was the task? Why is it relevant? Why is the idea appropriate?
Form
Why does the product look the way it does? How does it address the target group? How it is made?
Function
Why can it be used easily? Why does it work well? How does it serve the user?
Differentiation
Why is it new? How does it support the brand?
Effect
Which goals were achieved? How does it serve society? Why is it sustainable?
In 2022, the IF Design Award had received a record-breaking total of 11,000 entries from more than 57 nations. After an initial pre-selection, around 5,700 competing products advanced to the second round. The international jury was impressed by the features of the new Weidemann T7035/T7042 telehandler series and presented it with the IF Design Award 2022 in the Automobile/Vehicles category.
